Submission Opportunity
How do you investigate the Alberta wilderness in your work? Are you concerned about the loss of habitat and fauna and increasing threats to the environment? Do you spend a lot of time in the outdoors?
How do any of these questions affect your practice and how do you address them?
Have you developed a specific body of work or is this an overarching concern?
Artists use a variety of different approaches to engage in social issues and the
Alberta Wilderness Association is interested in publishing an article to highlight our different concerns and appreciation for nature and the environment.
If you would like to be considered for the article please send:
- a short description (approx. 250 words), outlining how you are addressing any of these issues.
- 2 images of your work to be considered for publication ( Minimum of 300 dpi, Jpeg files no bigger than 1mb each)
There is no fee or payment. However you will have the opportunity to voice your concerns and your work may be featured in the beautiful Wildlands Advocate publication, available in hardcopy and online.
