Poster artwork by Samantha Mcleod
CARFAC Alberta is hosting the artWORK/netWORK exhibition: an exhibit directed to post-secondary art students as they emerge into the arts community. This call for entry is a great learning opportunity for upcoming artists as they will gain greater knowledge of Best Practices for craft, media, and visual artists, providing an overall better understanding of the arts sector in Alberta. This exhibition will be accompanied by two online networking and learning sessions.
The juried art exhibition will be at the CARFAC Alberta Project Space in Edmonton from March 18 to June 18, 2022. The exhibition will feature the works of six to eight post-secondary art students or equivalent from all parts of Alberta. All selected artists will be paid a CARFAC-RAAV Copyright Exhibition Royalty.
All subject matter, styles and techniques are welcome as long the works are 2-dimensional or smaller 3-dimensional works as our project space is small. We cannot consider large installation or works needing electrical outlets. Keep in mind the works will need be shipped to CARFAC Alberta. CARFAC Alberta will pay for return shipment.
