The Town of Banff Community Art Committee is pleased to invite artists from Alberta and British Columbia to participate in an exciting, high-impact public art exhibition. Proposals are being accepted for a 2D artwork to be digitally produced and installed within Banff townsite. Images of representational artwork in media including painting (traditional and digital), drawing, printmaking, and photography will be accepted for consideration.
The exhibition will involve one artwork printed on weather-resistant vinyl and mounted to a 40 ft. x 32 ft. panel publically located on an exterior north-facing wall of the Mount Royal Hotel (138 Banff Avenue). The exhibition of this work will run for a five year period. Proposals must be submitted by 4 p.m. on January 15, 2019. Proposals submitted after this time will not be accepted for consideration.
