“EARTH”
The Alberta Society of Artists invites all Juried, Life, Student, Associate Members and members of the public to participate in the exhibition “Earth”
OVERVIEW
The ASA has over the last 4 years, invited submissions to the respective exhibitions “Fire”, “Water’ and “Air.” We now conclude with “Earth”. The theme can be understood in many ways. There is the earth itself, there are views of the earth, including satellite views. The abuse of the earth. The use of earth e.g. clay or sand etc. in the art process itself is also welcomed.

“LARGE WORKS”
The Alberta Society of Artists invites all Juried,Life, Student, Associate Members and members of the public to participate in the open themed exhibition, “Large Works.”
OVERVIEW
The purpose of this exhibition is to showcase only larger artworks as the ASA typically only exhibits smaller works and rarely exhibits 3D works. Acceptable submission include:
- 2D artworks no smaller than 45″ in any one direction & no larger than the doors (66″ x 83″)
- 3D artworks over 36″ in any one direction & no larger than the doors 66″ x 83″ (Accepted sculptors must be present to set up own 3D artworks, unless by special arrangement with coordinator. 3D submissions have other limitations (see Prospectus under “REQUIREMENTS”)
