Un-Common Threads Textile and Sculpture Show April 15th-May 3^rd, 2019

Entry deadline: March 23^rd, 2019

A call for Alberta Artists to create works of art incorporating textiles into 2D or 3D artwork. Examples could include: quilted wall hangings, art garments, art dolls, sculpture incorporating fabric, mixed media paintings, collages, embroidery, knit or crochet art pieces, etc.

Open Senior’s Competition May 27^th-June 14^th, 2019

Entry deadline: May 4^th, 2019

Alberta Artists in any medium who are age 55 and over are eligible to enter provided they meet the rules.  To conform to the spirit of the awards, all work must be original and completed within the last two years and not previously shown in the Spruce Grove Art Gallery.

Open Photography Competition June 17^th-July 5^th, 2019

Entry deadline: May 25^th, 2019

The Open Photography show is an open show to Alberta Residents over the age of 18 and who accept the rules of the show. Entry is open for all levels of photography and can be either photography or digital paintings.

Open Art Competition September 9^th-September 27^th, 2019

Entry deadline: August 17^th, 2019

This competition is open to Alberta Residents over the age of 18 and who accept the rules of the show. There are Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters, Three Dimensional and Photography categories. There is a Gala event for this show as well as prizes for the winners of each category.
