The CAC has published its list of asks for the 2019 Federal Election this fall, to encourage each party to think about the arts while putting together their platforms. The Elections Committee spent the last several months thoughtfully compiling this list, which includes continued increases in funding to the Canada Council for the Arts, the Canadian Arts Presentation Fund (CAPF), and the Building Communities through the Arts and Heritage Fund (BCTAH), as well as dedication to reconciliation with Indigenous communities, copyright reform, and skills training. Read the full platform for more details on our Federal Election priorities.
